Our Mission:

Spero's Hope is an organization dedicated to helping workers in the New York City area become more economically self-sufficient by preparing them for better employment opportunities. We support employees across industries and positions, including college students seeking internships, mid-career workers who want to re-enter the workforce, and senior level employees looking to make a career change.

Our free services include resume and cover letter development, updating online profiles, in person and video interview coaching, identification of skills and career interests, and the referral of job openings, thereby promoting a successful job search.

In fall 2022, we awarded financial scholarships to select incoming freshmen college students. Moreover, we partner with these students in finding internship and externship opportunities. Our objective is to prepare them for the interview process and to help them network where possible. Future plans include expanding our scholarship program to include select individuals who wish to pursue trade-oriented certifications.

Additionally, since the pandemic, Spero's Hope has sponsored one community outreach event each year. TAP HERE to learn more.
