Our Mission:

Spero's Hope is an organization dedicated to helping hourly workers in the New York City area become more economically self-sufficient by preparing them for better employment opportunities.

Our free services include resume development, interview coaching, identification of skills and career interests, and the referral of job openings, thereby promoting a successful job search. In addition, we offer tuition assistance, enabling select non-college educated individuals to obtain certifications for trade-oriented positions.

Additionally, since the pandemic, Spero's Hope has sponsored one community outreach event each year. Tap here to learn more.

Food Donation Initiative in Hamilton Heights, September 24

With rising inflation, food insecurity continues to be an issue for many New Yorkers. In June 2022, NBC News reported that 1.5 million New York residents do not know where or when they will get their next meal, and City Harvest has seen a 36% increase in food insecurity since pre-pandemic levels. On September 24, Spero's Hope is returning to The Church of St. Catherine's of Genoa in Hamilton Heights to donate shelf-stable food to the local community.

To donate to this important community event, please tap here. 100% of your donation will go towards the purchase of food for distribution.
